"Mommy, where is Heaven?"

Today while I was driving home with my two boys, Kobi decided to be not so nice with his words. So I told him, "Kobi, you need to use nice words when you talk. When mean words come out of your mouth it makes me sad and God sad too. He wants you to be nice just like mommy does."
Well, he then asked, "Mommy, where God?" I said, "In heaven" He said and pointed down the street, "Mommy is heaven down there?" I said, "No, it is way, way, way up in the sky" (the easiest way to explain where heaven is to a 2 1/2 year old) So he then said, "How I going to see God in Heaven." I said, "He will take you there someday" and then he said, "I going to climb a ladder to heaven and my daddy going to come too and he is going to hold my hand and take me up the big ladder". Is that not so precious? It is moments like that I want to hold onto forever - I know that "child-like" innocence and perspective wont last forever. So I thought I would share it all with you.
